Coolangatta Gold 2011

The Coolangatta Gold is one of the most iconic and challenging multi-discipline races in Australia. A 46 kilometre test of endurance comprising an ocean swim, surf-ski, board paddle and run – it is the longest race of its kind in the world. With age categories ranging from under-19s to masters, the Coolangatta Gold has something for everyone. Consider putting a team together to share the pain.

New Course Information

Advanced Resusitation Techniques ( ART ) and Apply First Aid courses will be commencing on the following dates:

Apply First Aid - Wednesday 28 September, Wednesday 5 October, Wednesday 12 October

Advanced Resusitation Techniques (ART) - Thursday 29 September, Thursday 6 October and Thursday 13 October
ARC and Defib as Awards cease to exist as of 31 December 2011 and you will need to have your ART award prior to this date.

This award will replace both the ARC and Defib awards. If you currently hold ARC and Defib certificates you will need only do a 3 hour refresher course.

If you only hold an ARC certificate and dont have a Defib Certificate you will need to do the 3 nights approx 9 hrs of training.

The ART training will be run over 3 Wednesday nights from 6.30pm to 9.00pm approx.

The First Aid course will be run on Thursday nights for 2-3 weeks depending on numbers.

Please forward your Expression of Interest to the Office by Tuesday 25 September and advise if you currently have both awards or just ARC.
