Australian of the Year Awards 2010

2010 will mark the 50th anniversary of the Australian of the Year Awards, with inspirational names such as Professor Fred Hollow, Kay Cottee, Cathy Freeman and Dr Fiona Wood among the honour roll.

YOU COULD NOMINATE THE NEXT AUSTRALIAN OF THE YEAR.

You are invited to nominate a friend, family member, community leader - an Australian who you believe makes our country a better place to live.

There are four award categories:

• Australian of the Year
• Senior Australian of the Year (60 years and over)
• Young Australian of the Year (16 to 30 years)
• Australia's Local Hero
