2010-2011 Proficiency Information

Proficiency Dates

Saturday 25th September - 8am
Sunday 10th October - 8am
Sunday 14 November - 8am

Pool Swim dates and times at Pizzey Park Miami

September:
Saturday 4th, 11th, 18th September - 9am to 10am
Thursday 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th September - 5.30pm to 6.30pm

October:
Saturday 2nd October - 9am to 10am
Thursday 7th October - 5.30pm to 6.30pm

November:
Saturday 6th, 13th November - 9am to 6.30pm
Thursday 4th, 11th November - 5.30am to 6.30pm

All Bronze and SRC members who gained their Award prior to 30 June 2010 and who wish to be active members, MUST attend one of the above proficiency dates.

ALL pool swims MUST be completed prior to doing your proficiency at either one of the above proficiency swim dates or your swim can be witnessed and signed off by a Level 1 swim coach on the attached form.

Proficiency Workbooks MUST be completed prior to the Proficiency day. Workbooks can be found on this website or printed copies are available at the office.

Any member who is not proficient, or has NOT completed appropriate awards shall NOT be allowed to:

• Perform patrols
• Operate Rescue Craft or
• Compete in Surf Life Saving Competitions

ALL MEMBERS MUST WEAR A COMPETITION CAP ON PROFICIENCY DAY.

Please note: No IRB proficiencies will be conducted on these proficiency days.
